Mysterious checks appearing in mailboxes, possible scam targeting the unemployed

LEE COUNTY, Fla. - A new scam appears to be targeting the unemployed or those desperately in need of extra cash.
A mysterious check has been showing up in people's mailboxes in a priority envelope, and cashing it could prove to be costly.
Inside of the padded envelope is a tempting offer that if taken advantage of, could leave you losing thousands of dollars.
