SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A Midvale, Utah, man on Monday was sentenced to 41 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for wire fraud and contempt of court committed while on pretrial release for a separate securities fraud case.
Chad Leon Sayers, 59, was found guilty by a federal jury in 2023 for violating a pretrial release condition set two years prior.
In 2021, Sayers was charged in a securities fraud scheme involving his company, American Smartphone Inc., doing business as Saygus.
