Austin police say a suspect already under investigation in a series of elderly fraud cases is now linked to an additional incident that resulted in more than $50,000 in losses, as detectives continue to seek the public’s help in identifying those involved.
The suspect is described as a white female in her early 60s to early 70s, weighing about 160 pounds, with medium‑length gray hair and glasses. The person of interest is described as a white male in his 30s or 40s with a heavy build. Investigators believe the suspects may be connected to a white Mazda SUV.
