Texas man receives sentence for part in $50K Southern Utah check fraud scheme; 2 suspects still wanted

One of three men charged in a check fraud scheme in Washington County has been sentenced after being extradited from Nevada to face the charges.

Calron Jaylen Rollins, 34, of San Antonio, Texas, was booked into Washington County Purgatory Correctional Facility on June 3 on a felony warrant issued Feb. 27 out of 5th District Court in St. George. 

He was arrested in Henderson, Nevada, and later transported to Utah.

Rollins was charged with two second-degree felony counts of theft and one third-degree felony count each of forgery and possession of a forgery device, all of which contributed to a reported $50,000 scheme.
