How to Identify Questionable IDs, State IDs, DLs, US Passport Cards, Documents, Frontline, and New Account Fooled

Webinar

How to Identify Questionable IDs, State IDs, DLs, US Passport Cards, Documents, Frontline, and New Account Fooled

This educational session focuses on how financial institutions can leverage technology to automate the detection of questionable IDs. Currently, the ability of front-line staff and online verification processes significantly lags the capabilities of criminals who can impersonate customers at different branches or open fraudulent accounts in person or online with highly sophisticated State IDs, Passport Cards, and many other government forms of Identification (i.e., State ID costing under $80 are extremely hard to determine if real or not). If your bad debt accounts are increasing and the individuals are untraceable, it is highly likely due to fraudulent ID with their new account applications or loan requests. An efficient, friendly, and accurate Know Your Customer (KYC) process to determine if an ID is questionable is essential to reduce your exposure. Implementing an automated solution will lead to significant savings on fraud expenses and bad debt.  At the same time, you significantly improve customer service and trust with your customers or members.
