“That’s Insane”: TSA Busts Passenger With An “Absurd” Stash Of Fake IDs

MSN

TSA workers are used to seeing all kinds of prohibited and unusual items in passengers’ bags. For instance, over 45 travelers tried to fly with firearms in their carry-on bags at Antonio International Airport, most of which were loaded. Yet, this is just one of the many instances in which TSA workers spotted illegal items thanks to their security procedures. In June, a passenger was caught hiding a knife in his walking cane.

A few days ago, the TSA official Facebook page published a post stating that a passenger was found guilty of traveling with the most fraudulent items ever at Newark Liberty International Airport.

TSA Finds Fraudulent Items In Passenger’s Bag

TSA workers have intercepted a passenger traveling with a total of 34 fraudulent passport cards inside his carry-on bag. While the post was published on August 13, the man was caught last week. The post states:

From John, to Jacob, to Jinglheimer and Schmidt, it looked like this traveler was trying to book a fakecation under multiple aliases. Thing is, you can’t passport your way past security as the consequences aren’t make-believe. Really though, this is an example of why REAL ID requirements are in place… to better secure and streamline the issuance of IDs.
