Former Waterloo Mayor’s son arrested as suspect in $10,000 robbery

WATERLOO, Iowa (KCRG) - Former Waterloo Mayor Quentin Hart’s son, Quenden Immanuel Hart, has been arrested following a $10,000 robbery.

Hart was arrested Monday in Waverly after authorities carried out a search warrant, according to court records.

He was taken to the Bremer County Jail and later transferred to the Linn County Jail on a warrant for second-degree robbery, first-degree theft and fraudulent use of credit cards. He is being held without bond.

According to a search warrant application, the 18-year-old is accused of robbing $10,000 in cash from a Marion man on December 22, 2025.
