Central IL Proud
GRANVILLE, Ill. (WMBD) — A 58-year-old man was arrested after allegedly robbing a Putnam County bank with a knife on Monday.
David Ragazincky, of Granville, was arrested just hours after the Granville Police Department received reports he had allegedly robbed the Granville National Bank, Police Chief Michael Padilla said.
Officers were called at 3:06 p.m. on Monday, April 6, to the Granville National Bank, he said.
When police arrived, they began an investigation which led to Ragazincky being identified as a person of interest, Padilla said.
Ragazincky was arrested within hours and taken to the Putnam County Jail on the charge of federal bank robbery, where he remains as of Tuesday afternoon, the chief said.
